KOKUSAI ELECTRIC CORPORATION (President and CEO: Kazunori Tsukada; Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan) has been recognized with “Prime” status for the first time in the ESG Corporate Rating by ISS STOXX as of May 2026.

ISS STOXX is a leading financial services provider under Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS), a U.S.-based proxy advisory firm, offering ESG ratings, proxy advisory services, and index development globally. The ESG Corporate Rating conducted by ISS STOXX evaluates corporate initiatives from environmental, social, and governance perspectives, and recognizes companies that meet certain criteria within each sector as “Prime.”

Under the corporate slogan “Technology & Tai-wa for Tomorrow,” we will pursue economic, environmental, and social values from both business and ESG (resolving environmental and social issues and strengthening governance) aspects, with the aim of contributing to the achievement of SDGs and realizing a sustainable society and our group’s sustainable development.
