Initiatives at the "Toyama Marathon 2026" and "Toyama Marathon EXPO 2026"

KOKUSAI ELECTRIC CORPORATION (President and CEO: Kazunori Tsukada, Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan) is sponsoring Toyama Marathon 2026, which will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2026, as a Gold Partner. We would like to introduce our company's initiatives at the event.

We produce and ship semiconductor manufacturing equipment at the Toyama Technology & Manufacturing Center in Toyama City, and the Tonami Manufacturing Center in Tonami City, both in Toyama Prefecture. With the aim of contributing to the sustainable development and regional revitalization of Toyama Prefecture through sports, we have sponsored the Toyama Marathon since 2025.
On the day of the Marathon, our employees will volunteer to help operate self-service water stations in cooperation with other Gold Partner companies, supporting the runners. Also, on the day before the event at the "Toyama Marathon EXPO 2026," the "KOKUSAI ELECTRIC × Toyama Marathon Executive Committee Booth" will be exhibited, welcoming runners with various projects and displays.

Our employees will support runners as official volunteers operating the self-service water station. At the station, we will support runners in cooperation with other Gold Partner companies while also aiming to reduce the amount of paper cup waste through the use of reusable water bottles.

We will set up the "KOKUSAI ELECTRIC x Toyama Marathon Executive Committee Booth."　At the booth, we will set up a photo booth where you can take commemorative photos for participating in the "Toyama Marathon 2026". Also we will display the food provided on the marathon, and distribute cheering fans and so on by the Toyama Marathon Executive Committee, creating a space that runners can enjoy.　

Under the corporate slogan "Technology & Tai-wa for Tomorrow," we will pursue economic, environmental, and social values from both business and ESG (resolving environmental and social issues and strengthening governance) aspects, with the aim of contributing to the achievement of SDGs and realizing a sustainable society and our group’s sustainable development.
