KOKUSAI ELECTRIC CORPORATION (President and CEO: Kazunori Tsukada, Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan) will sponsor the 2026 Tonami Tulip Fair, to be held from Wednesday, April 22 through Tuesday, May 5, 2026 in Tonami City, Toyama Prefecture.
In order to meet the increasing demand for semiconductor manufacturing equipment due to the growth of the semiconductor device market, we have been operating our Tonami Manufacturing Center in Tonami City, Toyama Prefecture since October 2024. As a company based in Tonami City, we have been continuously sponsoring the "Tonami Tulip Fair," held in Tonami City, since 2024 with the aim of contributing to the city's sustainable development and regional revitalization.
2026 Tonami Tulip Fair
The 2026 Tonami Tulip Fair, under the theme "Connecting Thoughts: Tonami Flower Stories," will feature 3 million 500 thousand tulips across 300 varieties blossoming in vibrant colors.
This event is packed with highlights, including the "Geoglyph of a large flowerbed" visible from the Tulip Tower and Tulip Skywalk, the 4-meter-high, 30-meter-long "Flower Otani," and Tonami's original "Floating Tulip."
