KOKUSAI ELECTRIC CORPORATION (President and CEO: Kazunori Tsukada, Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan) will again sponsor the Toyama Marathon 2026 as a Gold Partner, to be held on Sunday, November 1, 2026.
Our company manufactures semiconductor production equipment for shipment at the Toyama Technology & Manufacturing Center in Yatsuo-machi, Toyama-shi, and the Tonami Manufacturing Center in Tonami-shi, both in Toyama Prefecture. On this occasion, we have decided to sponsor the Toyama Marathon 2025 as a Gold Partner to contribute to sustainable development and local revitalization of Toyama through sports. We also plan to continue operating our booth at the "Toyama Marathon EXPO," held the day before the race. As a Toyama Marathon 2026 Gold Partner, we will support and energize the runners throughout the event. We will provide updates as details are finalized.
Under the corporate slogan “Technology & Tai-wa for Tomorrow,” we will pursue economic, environmental, and social values from both business and ESG (resolving environmental and social issues and strengthening governance) aspects, with the aim of contributing to the achievement of SDGs and realizing a sustainable society and our group’s sustainable development.
About the Toyama Marathon
The Toyama Marathon, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, is a sports event that starts in front of the Takaoka City Hall in Toyama. The course takes runners through quaint streetscapes and over the Shinminato Bridge, allowing them to enjoy the nature of Toyama, including the breathtaking panoramic views of Toyama Bay and the Tateyama Mountain Range, passing through serene countryside, all the way to the finish line at the Fugan Unga Kansui Park in Toyama-shi.
