Newly Developed High-Insulation Heater with Superior Environmental Performance

KOKUSAI ELECTRIC CORPORATION (President and CEO: Kazunori Tsukada, Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan) is pleased to announce the development of a new high-insulation heater with superior environmental performance, based on an environmentally friendly design concept.

Through our products and services, we aim to realize a sustainable society in harmony with the environment. Specifically, we strive to conserve the environment by reducing environmental impact throughout the entire product lifecycle and promoting the effective use of limited resources. Since May 2024, we have been evaluating energy-saving performance under even stricter environmental standards during product development and promoting environmentally friendly design.

We developed the new high-insulation heater under the concept of environmentally friendly design. Compared to conventional heaters, it can reduce power consumption by up to approximately 31% during stable temperature operation.

We aim to achieve net-zero by 2050 by promoting initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions throughout the value chain. By offering semiconductor production equipment equipped with this high-insulation heater, we help our customers reduce GHG emissions during their business activities.
