Human Resouces Management

Development of Human Resources

Approach to Development of Next-generation Human Resouces

Our philosophy for human resources development is to develop talent who “learn on their own, think on their own, and act on their own.” KOKUSAI ELECTRIC’s human resources development program matches our mid- to long-term growth strategy with individual career plans, consisting of assigning challenging tasks with on-the-job training, providing feedback to further develop talent, and giving off-the-job training to support specific development areas.

Off-the-job training is provided to all new employees, whether new graduate or experienced hire, to boost their knowledge and skills and advance their careers. It includes training sessions given by internal and external instructors to provide the skills and knowledge needed for their job, technical lectures to promote open innovation, language instruction to promote global dialogue, presentation instruction to teach points for effective presentation and improve presentation delivery skills, and more. Going forward we will expand leadership development to enable workers to respond autonomously to changes in the business environment, and training to upskill workers in response to changes in the skills they need.

Corporate Culture—Improving Engagement

Every year we conduct a global engagement survey to increase the level of employee engagement with the aim of being a company that is rewarding to work at. Results of the survey are released to employees, and everyone in the workplace discusses improvement measures and takes actions to improve the level of engagement.
